Frequently asked questions
1. How is English taught?
At PONNY KIDS we combine all-day natural communication in English with thematic lessons. Children learn the language in a playful way through games, songs, physical activities and everyday communication. This approach supports natural language acquisition and children learn English without stress. At first, we say the same things to the children in Czech at the same time, but very soon the child will understand and we minimize the Czech
2. How is preparation for Czech primary schools ensured?
In addition to intensive English teaching, we emphasize high-quality preparation in the Czech language. Children complete a daily preschool preparation program that includes preparation for reading and writing, mathematical skills, graphomotor skills and speech therapy. Our methods ensure that children manage the transition to Czech and international schools without any problems. Preschoolers have targeted preschool preparation for half an hour every day.
3. What are the qualifications of the teachers?
Our team consists of qualified teachers with experience in preschool education, including teachers with a focus on English. Our teachers are constantly educating themselves and are interested in the latest developments in preschool education. All this under the leadership of the director and owner, who has been involved in the field of children's education for more than 20 years. Her experience is essential not only for finding new paths and pedagogical approaches, but also for building an enthusiastic team.
4. How are children's diets and special needs addressed?
The diet at PONNY KIDS is healthy, varied and balanced, with an emphasis on fresh ingredients. We offer the option of adapting the menu to the needs of children, for example, in case of allergies or dietary restrictions. We also regularly include healthy weeks, such as a "sugar-free week".
5. What activities does the kindergarten offer?
PONNY KIDS provides a wide range of activities, including sports (tennis, swimming, gymnastics) and arts (music, art, theater). In addition, we organize trips, cultural events and thematic projects. Our goal is to develop children's talents and support their all-round development. Twice a year, children put on performances for their parents in a real theater. This way, children not only learn specific skills, but also build their self-confidence and courage.
